Alternating between Vienna and Salzburg after his marriage to Constanze, Mozart sought to rebuild family ties and appeal to the Viennese public. In this context, the opening theme of this Sonata in A major was born: gentle and elegant, it reflects the grace of salons and a brief moment of serenity.
